Dutch artist Henk Hofstra is back with a new environmental art project called ‘Art Eggcident’ in Leeuwarden, a city in the north of the Netherlands.
Several large eggs (each 100 feet wide) were spread on th Zaailand, one of the largest city squares in the Netherlands.

Nele Azevedo “Melting Men” project

He is an award winning Brazilian sculptor, artist and researcher.

He created 1000 tiny figures out of ice and placed them on the steps of the concert hall in Berlin’s Gendarmenmarkt Square. His Melting Men ice sculpture installations are meant to bring awareness  to warn that melting ice could cause sea levels to rise more than 3.3 feet by 2100. The sculptures are intended to highlight the direct effect of climate change in the Arctic and the future of humanity and nature on the planet as a whole.  In Berlin where the temperature was about 23 celsius the figures started melting within about a half hour.
